Breed: Miniature American Shepherds
Originally called the Miniature Australian Shepherd and renamed to the Miniature American Shepherd when joining the AKC in 2011. While new to the registration, they have gained popularity quickly and turn heads in a variety of coat patterns and eye colors. Final size is about 13 to 18 inches tall and 20 – 30 pounds when full grown.
Miniature American Shepherds are extremely loving, intelligent and loyal. They excel in a great verity of activities due to their natural athletic ability and desire to please their person. They bond very strongly with their owner and strive to protect the herd, which will be all the people in the family, if not livestock in the literal sense.

I am a graduate of the University of Florida and a System Architect. We have a happy family of 2 boys and 2 girls and a little farm in Trenton, Florida. Plenty of room to run, laugh, play and learn.
I’m also working with a few breeders and dog show professionals to learn everything I can about the Miniature American Shepherd. I’m always willing to listen to breed advice and I want the best for my dogs and their future legacy.
